Royal Mail Group Limited (RMG) has been notified by Ofcom on 4 September 2026 that it has decided to accept a referral to resolve a dispute between Mail Competition Forum and RMG about changes to RMG’s Access Letters Contracts which were due to come into effect on 5 October 2026. We acknowledge Ofcom’s announcement and will fully engage with the process. We wish to see this matter concluded as quickly as possible.

Following Ofcom’s notification and in accordance with the provisions of the Access Letters Contracts, the notice period for Customer Change Notice 129 is suspended for all Access Customers.
