use Royal Mail Mailmark® for mailings items using the Digital Stamp Indicia and provide the relevant customer Royal Mail Mailmark® participant ID number on the seed/sample acknowledgement letter;
- enter into the Digital Stamp agreement with us in the form of a new schedule to your Access Letters Contract (or, if you do not have an Access Contract with Royal Mail, check that your Access postal provider has a Wholesale Digital Stamp agreement with Royal Mail);
- ensure that your print supplier is aware of and completes the required approval process prior to use of Digital Stamp Indicia. The approval process must be completed by all customers including those who have taken part in the trial;
- confirm for each of your customers who intend to use Digital Stamp Indicia on Mailing Items that Royal Mail has been included as a seed on all Digital Stamp mailings. Customers and, if applicable, their posting customers must complete and return the seed/sample acknowledgement letter to Royal Mail prior to using any Digital Stamp Indicia;
- be able to comply with all aspects of the Digital Stamp Design Specification; and
- ensure that you use the correct Digital Stamp artwork, which can be obtained from accessdigitalstamp@royalmail.com.

Customer and print supplier approval process
- Contact accessdigitalstamp@royalmail.com who will outline all steps of the process and work with you and/or your print supplier to achieve approval;
- The Digital Stamp Indicia artwork designs and the Digital Stamp approval application form is available on request from accessdigitalstamp@royalmail.com;
- From the artwork and specification, your print supplier will need to produce a copy of each of the Digital Stamp designs intended to be used:
- the classic second class letter stamp design;
- the classic second class large letter stamp design; and
- each of the Special Stamp images.
- Epson prints are acceptable; however, the envelope material properties of this specification must be met to obtain reproduction of the image to the satisfactory standard. The physical copies of the Digital Stamp designs need to be sent, along with the Digital Stamp approval application form, to us at the following address for approval;

EC1A 1AA- We will notify you if new stamp designs are made available. The approval process must be followed by suppliers and customers wishing to use new designs.
- We shall notify our approval to you and the print supplier. If approval is not given, we will advise you and the print supplier of the issues we identified. Revised copies will have to be submitted to us if you would like us to consider your application for approval again.
