On 21 November 2019, we announced our intention to update the Baseline Year for National Price Plan One to 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019. We sought the consent of all Access customers to introduce this change on a shorter notice period to take effect from 1 April 2020.
 
Despite the enthusiasm of the majority of our Access customers to adopt an updated Baseline Year, we have not received consent from all Access customers to the shorter notice period. Regrettably this means that we are unable to update the Baseline Year in 2020 and Access Letters Contract Change Notice Number 055 shall be withdrawn.
 
We wanted to update the Baseline Year following feedback from some customers who suggested we should be using the most up to date data to determine our posting profile. We are encouraged that so many Access customers provided their consent for us to update the Baseline Year. Therefore in the new year, we will announce our plans to update the Baseline Year to take effect from 2021.
