Royal Mail is proposing some future changes to its Access Services. Since the Mailmark® option for machine-readable mail was successfully launched in March 2014 customers now pay a lower price for the Mailmark option compared to OCR and CBC services. In addition, customers who post using the Mailmark option also have access to free, on-line Mailmark performance reporting. We would like to simplify our future service offering by removing the more expensive barcoded CBC service from January 2017. We set out our proposals in the attached Mailmark Migration Consultation.
