Invitation to Royal Mail's "Planning for Origin" workshop on 27 March 2024
29-02-2024

We invite you to join us at our ‘Planning for Origin’ workshop on 27 March 2024.

Origin is ISBA’s advertiser backed programme, designed to create a blueprint for cross-media measurement. It is part of a global initiative to capture the value of advertising in a constantly changing consumer environment. Origin is designed to address the needs of advertisers, who need to understand and plan campaigns across multi-media channels. Attached is a briefing which provides a more detailed overview.

The workshop gives an opportunity for Access contract holders to learn more about Origin; what mailing data Origin will require from the mail industry to enable the channel to be included in the Origin platform; and about the Origin levy, including a discussion on the options on how the mail industry could collect this. The scope of Origin covers advertising mail and door drops only.

Ian Gibbs (Data Director of Leadership and Learning, JICMAIL) will join the session to discuss the role that JICMAIL would play in supporting the integration of mail data into the Origin Platform.
