We write to provide you with an update on the industrial action which we notified you of by our letter of 18 August 2022.

Sadly, the industrial action remains ongoing. We have provided regular updates in this regard to Access Customers via our website (for example on 28 September, 20 October and 24 and 28 November) but to summarise, to date strikes have taken place on the following dates:

The Communication Workers Union has called on its members, who collect sort and deliver parcels and letters, to take further strike action on 23 and 24 December 2022.

All of this action constitutes a Disruptive Event under the Access Letters Contract and Wholesale Parcels Contract and Royal Mail continues to rely on the relief given to it under clauses 7.2 and 7.3 in respect of these Disruptive Events.
