Mailmark Amnesty
We are giving new Mailmark customers an amnesty on adjustments
The Mailmark amnesty is to create a safe environment for a customer to test Mailmark mail. During the amnesty Royal Mail will not apply certain Mailmark adjustment charges.

Am I eligible for the Mailmark Amnesty?
The Mailmark amnesty is open to all customers and/or types of mail that have not used Mailmark before. Additionally you must:
- ensure that you or another Participant(s) in the Supply Chain (e.g. your Carrier, Bill Payer or Mail Producer) is registered to receive or access Mailmark Reports to support you monitoring the performance of the postings migrating to Mailmark;
- within 5 working days after the posting provide to us (or ensure that another Participant in the Supply Chain provides to us) each eManifest ID relating to the mailing; and
- if requested submit a photographic image of the front and back of the item(s) to us and have this approved by us at least 5 working days before handover.
What is included in the Mailmark Amnesty?
The following Mailmark adjustment charges are included:
- Barcode not Seen*
- Postcode Accuracy
- Delivery Point Suffix
*(To qualify for barcode not seen you must have tested your items with the Quality Assurance Team)
How long is the Mailmark Amnesty running for?
The Mailmark amnesty will run from 3 November 2025 until 31 March 2026.

The application window runs until 16 March 2026.
