Mailmark Amnesty
We are giving new Mailmark customers an amnesty on adjustments
The Mailmark amnesty is to create a safe environment for a customer to test Mailmark mail. During the amnesty Royal Mail will not apply certain Mailmark adjustment charge.

Am I eligible for the Mailmark Amnesty?
The Mailmark amnesty is open to all customers and/or types of mail that have not used Mailmark before.
What is included in the Mailmark Amnesty?
The following Mailmark adjustment charges are included on up to 5 eManifests:
- Barcode not Seen*
- Postcode Accuracy
- Delivery Point Suffix
- Default Postcode
- Unmanifested
- Missing or incorrect eManifest ID
*(To qualify for barcode not seen you must have tested your items with the Quality Assurance Team)
How long is the Mailmark Amnesty running for?
The Mailmark amnesty application period will run from 22 January until 30 November 2024.
Applications can be made from the 2 January 2024.
Approved applications are valid for 5 eManifests

How to apply for quality assurance
If you would like to qualify for the barcode not seen amnesty you will need to complete our initial barcode and mail piece check by our Quality Assurance team. You also have the option of testing your eManifest uploads and run a full machine test.
You can find out more about the quality assurance tests here. To apply for the quality assurance mail check please fill in the quality assurance form before sending your mail into us. This is so we can identify who to contact with the results of the test.
