We are planning on extending our Edinburgh Mail Centre to Inverness Mail Centre trunking service for the Access Letters Contract and Parcels Contract for a further 12 months.
Giving carriers an option to handover their Inverness labelled containers at Edinburgh Mail Centre, from where Royal Mail transits such items to the Inverness Mail Centre on behalf of the carrier for a relevant fee, the current service is due to come to an end on 24 March 2021.
In order for us to assess the viability as to whether the trunking service can continue from 25 March 2021 for a further 12 months, we invite carriers to submit their interest in participating. You can do this by simply emailing your Account Director by 18 February 2021. In your email, you should include a non-binding estimate of the number of Yorks which you request Royal Mail to transport as part of the trunking scheme.
If you have any questions please contact your Account Director.
